In both cases Jr. lists Mathew Gerbic as the father of both men but the birthplace of Mathew is different on the different certificates. In 1930 he lists Mathew's birthplace as Rocin, Austria, and in 1939 Mathew is listed as being born in Kombreska, Austria. Great-great-great-grandson Thomas Houser Gerbic has done extensive research on this area. And he is very clear about where these Gerbic's came from. Jr. writes that she is born in Rocin, Austria.
